July 2005:
Legislation is passed authorizing the Rhode
Island Convention Center Authority (RICCA)
to purchase the Dunkin' Donuts Center
from the City and reconfigures the Board
of Commissioners.

December 2005:
RICCA purchased the Dunkin' Donuts Center
from the City of Providence.
- January 2006:
RICCA formally embarked on a three-year
program for the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
- June 2006:
Revenue bonds to finance construction
are issued.
- December 2008:
Renovations complete.
