 Timothy O. Muldoon / General Manager


T.Muldoon Tim Muldoon is currently the General Manager of the Rhode Island Convention Center.

As General Manager of the Rhode Island Convention Center (RICC), Tim Muldoon spearheads the convention facility's strategy for delivering superior customer service. Along with his executive team, Mr. Muldoon oversees and directs the RICC's daily operations including event management, sales & marketing, finance, food & beverage and parking.

With over 15 years of experience in the facility management industry as an operations executive, Mr. Muldoon has intimate knowledge of event management challenges and a deep understanding of customer acquisition and retention strategies, which have translated into a 97% positive response rate from clients on quality of service
received.

Prior to acting as General Manager of the RICC, Mr. Muldoon served as Operations Manager with two of the largest tradeshow companies in the U.S., Reed Exhibition Companies and George Little Management respectively. Previously, Mr. Muldoon served in various managerial positions with several of SMG's convention facilities, including the Pepsi Arena in Albany, New York and the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Muldoon graduated from LaSalle University in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management.

 Deborah Tuton / Assistant General Manager
D.Tuton As Assistant General Manager of the Rhode Island Convention Center, Deborah Tuton focuses on the overall performance of the Center and its 2,400-car parking garage. In addition, Deborah assists in the overall management of the Center through her involvement in special projects that help maintain the RICC's 97% positive response rate from clients while maximizing Center profits. Deborah and her team work seamlessly to ensure that all customers of the Rhode Island Convention Center, large or small, have a successful, stress-free event and an enjoyable experience.

Deborah has over 20 years of experience in the meeting & convention industry. She has been with the RICC for a decade, where prior to her position as Assistant General Manager, she was Director of Operations. As the Director of Operations, along with her management team, Deborah directed all facets of the facility's day-to-day operations from electrical to garage operations as well as directing the facility's unions. She spent the previous 7 years as Senior Sales Manager, raising awareness of the venue and booking diverse meetings, trade shows and conventions.

Throughout her career she has also worked for some of the top trade show service contractors including The Freeman Companies and GES Exposition Services, giving her first-hand knowledge of the meeting industries challenges and opportunities.

Originally from Boston, Deborah studied Finance at the University of Massachusetts. In her spare time, she enjoys running and playing golf.

Nancy Beauchamp
As Assistant General Manager in the area of Finance, Nancy Beauchamp oversees the financial aspects and reporting for both the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Dunkin' Donuts Center. This dual facility role managing combined gross revenues of over $18,000,000 encompasses budgeting and forecasting, financial planning, as well as, event settlements with the numerous promoters that utilize both buildings.

Nancy's 24 year career in facility management and SMG began at the Centrum in Worcester (now the DCU Center) in 1983 as Controller. She held the positions of Director of Finance at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, CT, and Director of Facility Services at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence. She served as the Executive Director at the Mullins Center at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA for five years with total management responsibility for the 10,700-seat arena and ice rink for the University. Prior to her current position, she was the SMG Regional Director of Finance for the New England region and held the Director of Finance at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA,

Nancy is a graduate of Assumption College with a degree in Accounting, and Quinsigamond Community College, with an associate degree in Business Management.

John J. McGinn / Director of Sales & Marketing
J.McGinn Since September of 1992, John has been representing the Rhode Island Convention Center as the Director of Sales and Marketing. John is responsible for the solicitation, development and servicing of convention business, trade shows, public shows and corporate meetings. His pro-active sales approach has resulted in exceeding revenue goals each year since the opening of the Convention Center.

Before joining the Rhode Island Convention Center, John led a successful career with the Sheraton in various positions, including National Accounts Manager for the corporation's headquarters and largest hotel in New England, Sheraton Boston Hotel and Towers.

He is a member of The National Association of Consumer Shows and International Association of Exhibition Managers.

Kathy Masino / Director of Food & Beverage
K.MasinoMs. Masino has been Director of Food & Beverage at the Rhode Island Convention Center since December of 1999.

Under her direction, the Food & Beverage Department works closely with our customers to select appropriate menus for breakfast meetings, luncheons, receptions, dinners for business events, weddings, holiday events and the like. The concessions provided at trade shows and public shows offer a wide variety of items.

Kathy joined SMG in 1997 as Catering Sales Manager. Prior to joining SMG, Ms. Masino was the Catering Sales Director for Service America. She has over 10 years of progressive experience in the food and beverage industry.

A native Rhode Islander, Ms. Masino attended the University of Rhode Island.

Antonia Anthony / Director of Event Services
Antonia AnthonyAs Director of Event Services, Annie Anthony, is responsible for making sure every event that comes into our facility runs smoothly. She and her staff manage all aspects of events, from the planning stages to being on site the day of the event, providing support to the client. In addition to overseeing events, Annie also manages our 2,400 -car parking garage; assuring that guests experience a safe parking environment, and a swift exit. She also directs our business center operations, providing an array of services to our attending exhibitors.

Annie has been employed at the RI Convention Center since October of 2000. She began her career here as a booking coordinator. She proved to have a drive for excellence, and from there, she climbed the sales ladder; moving to sales assistant, and later to sales manager. In September of 2006, she acquired her current position of Director of Event Services.

Annie graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor's in communications and a minor in Spanish. Her unique educational background gives her an edge; she is trilingual, speaking English, Spanish, and Greek.

In her spare time, Annie enjoys reading and entertaining. She also takes pleasure in spending time with her family and friends.
