Executive Chef, Robert Gemma

A Rhode Island native, Chef Gemma has worked in the live events and sports hospitality world for nearly fifteen years. With experience cooking for the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and early on in his career, the Pawtucket Red Sox, Chef Gemma’s experience with high-volume and diversity in food offerings is what makes him an ideal Chef to lead our culinary team at the Rhode Island Convention Center. His love for the industry is rooted in the satisfaction of knowing that you can change someone’s day with a well cooked meal, and that drives him to produce high quality presentations for clients.

Executive Sous Chef, Travis Harmon

Hailing from Upstate New York, Travis began his career almost twenty years ago, earning a culinary arts degree from SUNY, then relocating to Rhode Island to further pursue culinary and hospitality focused bachelors and masters degrees from Johnson & Wales. 

 

Since graduating, Chef Harmon has gone on to run a kitchen at the 4 star Sagamore Resort on Lake George, the kitchens of Chef Yono Purnomo, worked for Capital Region restaurant mogul Angelo Mazzone, and local Rhode Island restaurants Cafe Nuovo, New Rivers and the New York Yacht Club.
